What a wonderful voice. Marc Bolan was quite a special creature. I was 13 when I bought this album with the pocket money that I had saved. He was quite revolutionary, yet was also playful, especially in relation to the glam rock movement was so appealing to me at the time. It was childlike in its innocence yet there was this undercurrent of something edgy as well – like hearing fairy tales told through a rock & roll lens.
