Punk icon John Lydon has hit out at the current generation of young people, claiming they are too aggressive and violent.
Speaking to The Guardian, the former Mr Rotten said: "Younger people at the moment are very mouthy and aggressive.
"You’re all terrified of your own youth. You’re not allowed to give them a clip around the ear and send them home."
When asked about whether people were scared of him when he was younger, he replied: "Mmm. That was the power of words, but this lot use violence."
