2. The CleanCompilation

A friend of mine had a cassette of this record and gave it to me as he thought I’d like it and it was just instant. I love everything about it, and of course it being on cassette only added to the ‘otherness’ of it as there were no liner notes so all I knew were the song titles. I’m not sure I knew that they were brothers for a while, but every song on that record is amazing. The melodies, the mood, the things that are instantly familiar and instantly like nothing you’ve ever heard before simultaneously.
