I’m not the biggest Sly and the Family Stone fan but I am the biggest There’s A Riot Goin’ On fan. I like the hit songs but there’s just something about the mood and you can’t help but get caught up in the story; this guy’s in the process of blowing it but somehow, before he does, or even, as he does, he creates this masterpiece. The sound of falling apart has never been equalled.
