9. Einstürzende NeubautenHalber Mensch

This one is really important to me. I saw them live when I was a teenager. That changed a lot for me. I started buying a lot of records and I started to make music according to their anything-goes approach. And they actually turned me on to using acoustic instruments. That wasn’t my culture before at all, I was more into electronic music. It was industrial music that taught it was OK to use rather unusual instruments, like an accordion. Because of Einstürzende Neubauten I realised that every instrument has this capability to create noises rather than to create music. And I found that idea of noises much more exciting.
