I’ve been a fan of Mdou Moctar for quite a while now. I just think it’s really intricate beautiful music that I really enjoy listening to. This record in particular is super virtuosic, it’s really interesting texturally, there’s a lot of movement and dynamism in it. It’s just something that I really enjoy.
