I closely follow this Canadian label called Profound Lore. I was into the Lovecraft-esque album cover. The music is connected to this, it’s a wall of sound of untuned guitars and a drum bathed in this opaque reverb. I don’t like death metal too much but I feel the boldness of their world. They are not trying to mimic a cult death band.
