Baker's Dozen

Artists discuss the 13 records that shaped their lives

7. Bloc PartySilent Alarm

JH: I love this record I have a lot of nostalgia for it. If you watch Skins it’s always in the soundtrack! It feels really of its time, it sums up that period in the UK. I attach it to a lot of music in the UK from then. I was very young at that time. Out of all those indie bands from that period, Bloc Party really stand out and are so different for me.
