Artists discuss the 13 records that shaped their lives

7. BjörkHomogenic

Björk is like a beacon in this time, of how it can be done – how an artist can sustain a career and have integrity. Her performances are unmatched. When she’s onstage it’s like, ‘this is what’s possible, and this is what we should be trying to attain as performers.’ I could have chosen any Bjork album to be honest, but this was an important one to me.

Selected in other Baker’s Dozens: Patrick Wolf, Objekt, Tony Njoku, William Doyle, Jesca Hoop, , Brett Anderson
