Thom Yorke has had a rant about the oil industry in a blog post on the Radiohead website.
Linking to the Stop Global Warming Petition, Yorke observes that President Obama is a signatory, and remarks "currently there is talk of a climate change bill in the US similair to the one we have passed in the UK."
"That’s a BIG deal," he enthuses, but adds, "I have been reading how the oil industry is investing millions of dollars in a PR campaign against it! How utterly dumbass is that? How do these people look their children in the eye?"
Concluding, Yorke remarks, "in [sic] have now stepped down from todays soapbox. byebye"
