A reformed Membranes are among the latest slew of acts announced for the excellent Nightmare Before Christmas ATP, curated by My Bloody Valentine.
Quietus scribe and Membranes singer John Robb told the Quietus of the band’s decision to reunite, "Like King Arthur’s knights buried beneath the soil of Merrie Englande we are ready to be called on in the country’s hour of peril. We were called. And we will play… Only noise and confusion can save us from the apocolypse…the thunder of hooves and the clash of metal armour…rise up…rise up."
John Robb would like to add that, "on a more boring note, it doesn’t mean that Goldblade are fucking off".
Also added to the line-up for the weekend (December 4th to 6th) are Ariel Pink and Josh Pearson.
