22-year-old NY noise merchant Margaret Chardiet, aka Pharmakon, is releasing her debut LP Abandon (artwork above) through Sacred Bones on May 13 – have a listen to album closer ‘Crawling on Bruised Knees’ below:
The cut’s a grinding juggernaut of power electronics from an album described as being about: "Loss. Losing everything. Relinquishing control. Complete psychic abandon. Blind leaps of faith into the fire, walking out unscathed. Crawling out of the pit." A tall order, but this challenging preview suggests that she is set to deliver these feelings in droves.
