Devon Clifford, drummer with Canadian band You Say Party! We Say Die!, has passed away aged 30.
Clifford was taken to hospital after he collapsed onstage during the band’s show in Vancouver on Friday April 16. According to Spinner, he suffered a brain haemorrhage and was placed on life support before passing away early yesterday morning.
The band’s label, Paper Bag, released the following statement in tribute:
"It is with absolute sadness to report that our dear friend Devon Clifford passed away just hours ago in a Vancouver hospital surrounded by his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. I request that we respect the family’s privacy during this incredibly difficult time."
