Johnny Marr is composing the score for a forthcoming film starring Antonio Banderas and Snoop Dogg.
The former Smiths guitarist will provide the music for The Big Bang, the story of a private detective searching for an elusive stripper.
Producer Reece Pearson proudly told MovieScore magazine: "This will be Johnny’s first film score and he was just ranked the number one greatest guitarist of all time by Virgin Media."
Marr, who has recently been playing guitar in The Cribs, is also planning to score three television dramas with former Stone Roses singer Ian Brown.
