The righteous John Robb will release his new book Death To Trad Rock next month.
The follow-up to his best-selling tome The North Will Rise Again – An Oral History of Manchester Music will be released in October and will explore the noisy underground riot of music in the UK from the mid to late 80s.
Over 50 bands will be discussed over 500 pages including Age Of Chance, The Membranes, A Witness, The Nightingales, Big Flame, The Very Things and Stretchheads.
