Cafรฉ Oto will be hosting two nights curated by Sunn O))) founder Stephen O’Malley this spring, in their ongoing series of events showcasing artists on his Ideologic Organ label. First, on March 11, Swedish composer Mats Lindstrรถm will perform Images Of The Dream And Death by the late Hungarian composer รkos Rรณzmann, as part of two events celebrating the 50th anniversary of Stockholm’s electronic music centre EMS, where Lindstrรถm is studio director. The other, hosted by Lindstrรถm, is on March 8, and features Mats Gustafsson & Thurston Moore, Vinyl Terror & Horror and more, while Lindstrรถm will also be giving a talk at Goldsmiths University on March 10.
This will be followed on April 2 with performances from Tokyo-based psychedelic pop singer Ai Aso, Swiss experimental composer Norbert Mรถslang and Swiss-French artist Kassel Jaeger, part of the multi-textured electronic music Groupe de Recherches Musicales – head here for details and tickets.
