1. YellowmanMr Yellowman

This was a gateway album for me. I used to get my reggae from Wolverhampton’s Libraries. They had a lot of albums by The Scientist and Yellowman. I’ve never really looked at it as dancehall myself. Back then I think it was his humour and his delivery that gave him the edge over all of his contemporaries. In my mind no one has ever gotten this kind of music better than him. He dressed really good. He had the audience behind him… well, he certainly had the ladies behind him which was great.
