I heard this album first over the stereo in the cafe at Metropolis Mastering in Chiswick (I guess we were mastering Lamb’s fourth album, Between Darkness And Wonder) and I remember thinking this must be the voice of a young child. Some research later, however, and many more listens, and I was utterly hooked and this became a regular in-car singalong experience with my then two and six-year-old sons. Still now, at 15 and 18, they can be persuaded to give a rendition of ‘Bridges & Balloons’.

This is a truly magical record; the kooky lyrics ("I killed my dinner with karate…") combined with her utterly quirky vocal and heavenly harp.
