5. David BowieThe Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars
This was my sound when I was 13. Great songs, great arrangement. And Visconti and Mick Ronson… what a team to have around you! Epic vision and unafraid to seize the mantle. I love Bowie – the strings on ‘Life On Mars’ still gives me shivers.
