4. Earth, Wind & FireFantasy
No other band could be like them either! Not even close. The intro to ‘Fantasy’ is just insane. I just can’t fathom it, not even to this day. I first heard it when I was a kid, but just appreciate it so much more now. The words, the lyrics – everything just means so much more to me now than it did then. As I’ve gotten older I’ve started being able to understand more about what their music was about. The intro and the bass guitar, as well as all of the different rhythms, my god! They are all so different yet they all come together and it flows. I love this track for that. Actually all of Earth, Wind & Fire’s music is like that, but this particular one is my favourite.
