Man, you just have to go and listen to this song and that’s not just because she’s my homegirl. She sent me a demo of this, saying, "yo sis, I want you to check this out." And I was just like, "what did I just hear?" One of my favourite lines in ‘Ready’ is when she says "the dialogue of the martyr makes me sick" – oh, that hit me so deep! I know what that feels like! Maybe I was going through something at the time, I don’t actually remember what it was. 

And it’s Louisahhh, we expect the best from her [laughs]. I always expect the best! And I know she’s going to give that, she is not the type to put out something that’s half-assed or mediocre. She’s another give-a-million-percent kind of artist. Definitely. She’s a trendsetter, because first of all, I don’t know anybody who sounds like her vocally – she has the most soothing voice. And second she sounds aggressive but calm at the same time. To be able to pull that off is just brilliant.
