13. Kate BushNever For Ever

It would be wrong to not have a Kate Bush record. The one that I’m going to go with is Never For Ever. There’s a song called ‘Delius’ on that record that I think is really underrated and was a huge inspiration for the song ‘Paprika’ [from Jubilee]. I think it’s a unique record. She’s obviously the GOAT and makes a lot of weird creative and courageous decisions. That song in particular was a key part of me figuring out how to write a song that’s important to me.
