This album is about the journey of our ancestors and to remind us of where we all were. It’s especially true for me because I grew up in the seventies where there was an identity crisis, which was also weird. We were told that we were West Indians but after researching into my ancestors and forefathers, they came from The Caribbean and Africa. The story’s deep baby, the story’s deep. I’ve just carried on that tradition. This classic roots reggae album is a crowning achievement, and also a monumental work of art/science; vocals, and harmonies that can only dispensed by angels.
