King Yellow is a man that was very versatile, always full of lyrics, full of melody. Yellowman showed us how to entertain an audience. After 1983 and 1984, Yellowman started easing down. Then a new teacher emerged on the scene called Major Worries. Major Worries was another one who was way ahead of his time but his life was cut short. Then there was Shabba Ranks, Admiral Bailey, Little Twitch, all deejaying in Yellowman’s style, even I and I. Yellowman influenced all of us. King Yellow was the leader, the true teacher for the dancehall massive.
