We at the Quietus are very partial to late-period, Real Gone, Mule Variations, "what’s he building in there?" Tom Waits. We’re therefore excited to see a post on his Facebook linking us to a lyrical snippet from his next record, about which neither we nor the world know much at all. He’s a secretive cove, that Waits. Anyway, Waits’ site predictably crashed, but not before we were able to access the image, featuring lyrics drawn on a blackboard, that you can see below. More on new Tom Waits as and when we get it.
