Ex Queens of the Stone Age bassist Nick Oliveri is set to release his first solo album later this year.
Oliveri, who has also been a fixture of bands including Kyuss and Mondo Generator, has been working on Death Acoustic for the past twelve months and will release the album on October 27.
Oliveri was fired from Queens of the Stone Age in 2004 by fellow band member Josh Homme.
