_The Resistance_ will use the forgotten instrument of 80's funk
Space prog-rockers Muse have announced that their new album The Resistance will feature slap bass.
Speaking to NME, Muse’s Chris Wolstenhome revealed that the instrument forms part of the rhythm section for their new track ‘Unnatural Selection’.
"I know it’s probably not ever been cool to play slap bass", he said, "but on that song it just seemed to work, so we kept it in."
