Daft Punk showed they’re human after all after faux-robotic DJ Thomas Bangalter was spotted sans helmet indulging in some light chaos and debauchery in LA last night, reports Stereogum.
As party-goers gathered in Los Angeles’s Cinespace to witness sets by SebastiAn, SoMe and Gaspard from Justice, Bangalter – looking disappointingly like a normal homosapien rather than a discofunk android from outer space – surprised the crowd by taking to the decks.
The DJ played his own band’s tune ‘Rollin’ and Scratchin”, DJ Mehdi’s ‘Signatune’ and Prince’s ‘Raspberry Beret’ before escaping the limelight as quickly as he entered it.
