Fence Collective member Dan Willson, aka Withered Hand, has recorded a Christmas song as part of Fence Records’ end of year celebrations. It makes the first new material from Willson in 2 years, and arrives in advance of a new EP coming out through Fence in February. Listen to the song & watch the video below.
The new EP will be the first 7" released through Fence Records’ Chart Ruse, a series of 7"s from Fence members released over the next few months. It’s due to feature three songs – ‘Heart Heart’, ‘My Struggle’ and ‘Gethsemane’, was recorded by Darren Hayman and features Rozi Plain on additional vocals.
The 7"s will be available at gigs and through select record shops, but the main mode of delivery is through subscription via the Fence website. ‘Real Snow’ actually arrives as something of a Christmas bonus for people who subscribe before the 16th December – they’ll get sent a Christmas card with a mini-CD featuring the song.
