With the vinyl release for Truss’ ‘Ganymede’ EP imminent, Perc Trax have released the official video for the title track – watch below:
Directed by an unnamed producer, the video centres around psychedelic, purple tainted forest shots. As the video progresses these are slowly mirrored together, in a section reminiscent of 2001‘s space travel scene.
Truss, aka Tom Russell, first debuted on Perc Trax with 2010’s ‘Osbasten’ EP. In the interim he has released work on Sigha’s Our Circula Sound, as well as putting out a healthy string of remixes for the likes of Stroboscopic Artefacts, EarToGround and Miniscule Records. The London-based producer has also developed a good partnership with co-producer Donor, aka Greg Schappert, releasing a series of 12” with the New Yorker.
Set for vinyl release on Friday, September 14, and digital on the 28th, Ganymede will feature two original productions from Truss, alongside two fantastic remixes, one from label boss Perc, and the other from Birmingham-based DJ Skirt.
