Cologne duo Coma have just released the first single, ‘Hoooooray’, off their forthcoming album, In Technicolor, as a free download. Head over to the label’s Soundcloud to get hold of the track, and take a look at the video below, via Noisey:
The duo’s Marius Bubat and Georg Conrad are, in the label’s words, "more ardent perfectionists than hyped-up egomaniacs", with the debut full-length three years in the making. That precision is evident in ‘Hoooooray’ – the meticulous handclaps and the sparing, restrained use of effects in the coda – and serves to bolster the track’s essence, as an immaculate dancefloor stomper. Ada and fellow Cologne natives Roosevelt take guest spots, with the album also featuring Vimes and MIT frontman Edi Winarni.
In Technicolor gets a release on April 15 via Kompakt.
