From their third album, Tracing Echoes, electronic pop quartet Bloodgroup have premiered the video for their new single ‘Nothing Is Written In The Stars’ – have a watch above.
The video, shot by musician and short film-maker Heiðrik á Heygum, is a stylish monochrome clip that follows the fate of a solitary female protagonist who plays a sinister voyeur at the behest of her horoscope. As Bloodgroup’s Portishead-style soft vocals intensify over the ominous low-frequency backing, the obsessive voyeurism comes to a grisly conclusion on an emotive instrumental string swell.
