So U2 have confirmed the rumours, and are going to pull out of this year’s Glastonbury Festival due to the Bono’s bad back, which was operated on this past weekend. While the Quietus has every sympathy with Bono’s medical predicament, surely the U2 singer can take heart from many of the other musicians who have triumphed over medical adversity to make sure the show goes on.
