Tomorrow night there’s a notable meeting of our two favourite new guitar groups in London as both Savages and Toy play at the XOYO venue. Now, though, we can bring you a brand-new Toy track from their recent session for Topman CTRL, shot in Edwyn Collins’ West Heath Yard Studio. ‘When I Went Back’ is the b-side to their new Heavenly Records single ‘Motoring’, and is more pleasingly melodic psychedelia from and for young minds who don’t really believe in that whole ‘sleeping’ thing.
