Actress Tilda Swinton is to guest on Battle, the new double album from Patrick Wolf.
Swinton became involved in the project after Wolf, a fan of the actress after seeing her performance in Orlando sent her a CD and hand-written note. Swinton was rather taken with the lupine artiste, and made a spoken word contribution to four tracks.
Speaking about the collaboration, Swinton said, "My feeling is that we almost certainly come from the same planet: kith and kin. His music feels like the unexpressed soundtrack of a great film I want to see – and try to catch every night before I go to sleep. It’s a lovely thing to be a part of that magical landscape."
