London makers of sparse, intimate pop The xx have started work on their second album, the follow up to their massively successful self-titled debut.
In an announcement on their newly started blog, the band posted this brief announcement:
"We have started recording our second album! We have also started this blog where we will post our inspirations + pictures + favourite songs. We hope you enjoy it! Lots of Love, The xx"
