Shit & Shine Announce New Album

Shit & Shine, our favourite exponents of gnarled music rendered while dressed as Lucifer’s favourite blue-faced rabbits, are putting out their new record shortly. 54 Synth-Brass, 38 Metal Guitar, 65 Cathedral (oh yes) is out on March 16 via Rocket Recordings. How will the album sound? Well, we’re told it’s been informed by Powder Horn, the record they put out on Diagonal last year, and "lurches forth like Chrome alchemically reassembling the disembodied spirit of Marc Bolan in a scrapyard trash compactor". For now, listen to ‘Electric Pony 2’, the first track taken from the album, six minutes of loping bass and gauzy, fuzz-addled atmosphere.
