Berlin-based brand Kuboraum is releasing a compilation, Kuboraum Sound Residency.
Featuring 12 tracks, the release was pulled together after a selection of acts were invited personally by the brand "to write a piece of music inspired by Kuboraum’s philosophical and aesthetic principles", according to a press release. (Kuboraum is known for selling unconventional eyewear and masks.) Regis, Space Afrika, Ziúr, Lucy Railton, Moin, μ-Ziq, Alessandro Adriani, and MC Yallah x Debmaster are among the acts who contribute music to the release. Kuboraum Editions will release Kuboraum Sound Residency on May 17, 2024.
