R Stevie Moore, the lo-fi icon who was a major source of inspiration for Ariel Pink and has had a surprising emergence into the wider public eye as of late, is the subject of a new documentary by French film-maker Arnaud Mauget and French band Hifiklub. Entitled I Am A Genius (And There’s Nothing I Can Do About It), it’s set for release on DVD later this month. It arrives only a few weeks after Tim Burgess’ O Genesis label released a ‘greatest hits’ type package of his music entitled Lo Fi Hi Fives. You can read our review here.
