At the weekend Luke and John were lucky enough to witness DJs and compilers Chris Menist and Maft Sai playing a set of Thai Luk Thung, Molam, soul and pop that had them mincing like recent lottery winners on a cruise ship all night long.
Chris Menist (along with Miles Cleret) collected together the tunes for one of our favourite compilations of 2010, The Sound Of Siam as well as other gems for Finders Keepers such as Sound Of Wonder and Thai? Dai. And now along with ZudRangMa Records DJ partner, Maft Sai, they’re taking their trusty box of 7"s out on the road.
