For a man who numbers among his fans many a Sun reading, union flag-waving football dolt, Noel Gallagher has shown himself to be somewhat lacking in love for this green and pleasant land, these dark satanic mills, cottage gardens strewn with foxgloves, the cheery laugh of the milkman etc.
“I miss watching the football, I miss getting a decent cup of tea. That’s about it, other then that I don’t miss anything,” Gallagher moaned to a Dutch TV station.
“You know England is not that fucking great, as anybody’ll tell you. To live in England is a fucking shithole, to be honest. Well, look at it, fucking dump!”
He added that he wasn’t a massive fan of London, either: "London is a fucking dump. It’s full of crime, it’s full of fucking tourists. It’s traffic, it’s pollution," he whined. "I don’t even know why I live here to be honest."
