New Dinosaur Jr. Album Recalled For Being Too Loud

Copies of the latest offering from Dinosaur Jr., Farm, have been recalled because they are a ‘little too loud’. The reason for this fortunate error was an error during mastering: ‘While duplicating the original master… the software program ‘doubled’ the sound layers. This resulted in a 3db increase in volume.’

The band’s label, Pias are offering free swaps for any ‘faulty’ CDs via their website, as well as throwing in a free Dinosaur ringtone and some stamps. Or you could just count yourself lucky that you own the musical equivalent of a misprinted 20p piece.
