Fresh from the release of his latest album Beams, which again finds the sometime techno producer flexing his electro-pop muscles, Matthew Dear has announced that he will be playing a full UK tour this December. It will find him performing with a new live band – Dear on vocals, electronics and guitar, plus a host of fellow musicians on trumpet, percussion, drums, bass and vocals. "I have never felt more certain of myself on stage as I now do," said Dear of this tour. "There are so many ways to convey music in a live setting, and it has to impact the viewer theatrically."
