Lou Reed and Metallica’s joint musical project is either going to be the most surprising, keenly anticipated thing we’ve heard in years… or a gaseous waft of self-indulgence that could threaten to extinguish life on this earth as we know it. Aside from some mutual loving, details on the project are sketchy. But today a website was launched that features the legend "Coming Soon" and a gnarly B&W photographs of the, er, legends, apparently by Anton Corbijn. You can gaze upon their craggy looks here.
