The album itself finds him using a wider variety of textures and ideas than ever before, from stammering glitch rhythms to the sort of oceanic, floatation tank synth drones that marked out his last album Returnal. This is closer to the latter, mainly taken up by a soft, solemn piano line that gradually sinks beneath the waves.
