Last week, half of the Quietus was lucky enough to see Kraftwerk performing by the side of a rowing lake in Croatia. Alas, the Croat coxless fours didn’t come out from some synchronised strokes to raise awareness of pollution during ‘Radioactivity’, but it was one of the best gigs we’ve ever seen, nonetheless.
Last night in Manchester, however, Kraftwerk played at the city’s velodrome and, during ‘Tour De France’, members of the British cycling team suddenly appeared to hurtle around the velodrome’s track.
