The video for Jarvis Cocker’s new single has been released into the internet ether today and, handily enough, the other day we had a chat with the main man about the rather painful-looking shoot.
"Although I say it myself, it is a very good video," said Jarvis. "It’s based around the concept of the sleeve, of me in various uncomfortable positions, so I even ended up hung upside down at one point. Basically I was tortured for 14 hours, and now you can see the result."
Was it enjoyable, in a masochistic way?
"It was actually, but I did ache for a fortnight."
