Since it emerged that the rest of Led Zeppelin might be considering a world tour without Robert Plant, a host of other musicians have been suggested as a potential replacement.
Plant has condemned the continued speculation about Led Zeppelin’s future, asserting that he “will not be touring or recording with Led Zeppelin”.
Jack White has been linked with the role, presumably because he wails and caterwauls like a tit too. However, a ‘source’ close to White apparently told the ever-reliable Daily Star that “I do not believe you can have a band called Led Zeppelin, singing Zeppelin songs, without Plant.”
