As we reported the other night, we were pleased to hear that ATP-signed duo Fuck Buttons – as well as solo music from one half of the Buttons, Blanck Mass – booming out around the stadium during the Olympic Opening Ceremony on Friday night. It was certainly a great deal better than what could have been, had Danny Boyle not been at the helm: had certain quarters been left to select the musical programming, we’re betting that we’d have seen a tired looking Take That wheeled out to represent The Best That British Music Has To Offer.
So to mark the occasion, they’re running a competition to win the whole series of the ‘Olympians’ single – a series of five 12"s in all the hues of the Olympic rings.
