Efterklang have announced that folk singer-songwriter John Grant will be the special guest on their tour in support of new album Piramida, out on September 24 via 4AD.
While Grant has been a little quiet since his revered 2010 LP Queen Of Denmark, we may hear some new material on the tour – have a look at the dates below:

Piramida was inspired by Efterklang members Mads Brauer, Casper Clausen and Rasmus Stolberg’s trip to the titular abandoned mining settlement in Spitzbergen last summer, which they explored, making sound recordings that formed the basis of the album – watch the video to ‘Hollow Mountain’ from the LP, featuring photos from their trip, below:
